About Subterranean Postcards:
Dark and mysterious, these photographs bring the viewer to a world of beneath. To an alien, yet somehow familiar, monochromatic landscape. Here shadows define the light, and our emotions are triggered by the challenges to our senses. Images depicting a subterranean world located just below the crust of our earth or the subconscious skin of our humanity.
All images were captured in camera within a fraction of a second, with minimal adjustment in Lightroom. This intensity of defined movements carried out within a compressed time period, influence both my creative focus and the emotional impact of the final photograph.
